(ru) russian obscure. утверждают, что умеют делать всякие штуки..
у тех, кто видел выступления scofferlane вживую это не вызывет сомнения. не просто умеют, а вытворяют эти самые штуки с мазохистским удовольствием каждый концерт.
на мой взгляд - одна из лучших групп нэшнал мрак-сцены (тем более что исполнителей подобного стилевого уклона по пальцам одной руки пересчитать можно).
"активный" российский слушатель не раз на местных муз.форумах натыкался на одну и ту же биографическую статью, повествующую о начале концертной деятельности группы the boo (2005 г. от р.х.), ее печальной участи на презентации второго альбома secret royal servant и последующей реинкарнации в (*динь-динь-динь) scofferlane. дополнить тут по существу нечего, хоть группа и ведет довольно активную концертную деятельность, но можно, например, понадеяться, что grave jibes порадует нас в скором времени каким-нибудь занятным интервью..
еще раз, пожалуй, стоит поздравить их с участием в Drop Dead Festival (который, напомню, пройдет а августе 2010 г. в Вильнюсе).

(en) The Boo was established in 2005. And it was definitely bright. They played an explosive mixture of torn rhythm & blues, proto-punk, gothic in the best manifestation of this word, and something more important, what has no name. Under this name come two very different and interesting albums. Live performance is a special issue, they should be seen and heard.
after the change of the bass player and taking in a cello, all the fascinating things of The Boo were inherited by the Scofferlane. The difference between the projects, especially, in his own language of communication and interaction on stage, as a result - plenty of improvisation and bold experiments.
Music Scofferlane still can not be unambiguous assessment. it either totally grabs you, or is the total rejection. it seems that the strongest argument in its favor.

(fr) The Boo s'est formé en 2005. Il jouent un mélange de rythm'n'blues à moitié proto-punk saupoudré d'une touche gothique au bon sens du terme et, chose importante, encore innommé. Sous ce nom voennent deux albums interressants très différents et un live. A voir et écouter.
Après un changement de bassiste et l'arrivée d'un violoncelliste, Toutes les choses fabuleuses qui faisaient The Boo devinrent The Scofferlane. La différence? L'interraction directe avec le public dans leur manière propre de s'exprimer pleine d'improvisations et d'experimentations sévères.
Le son de The Scofferlane ne peut souffrir un jugement mitigé. Soit il vous aggrippe soit il vous repousse. Cela semble encore leur plus gros point fort.
